Wie in den Reliefs sind das Königspaar Echnaton und Nofretete oder zwei ihrer Töchter auch in Rundbildern Hand in Hand dargestellt worden. Wurden solche Figuren aus mehreren Materialien zusammengefügt, dann waren nicht nur die Köpfe sondern alle anderen unbedeckten Körperteile aus einem farblich passenden Gestein gearbeitet. Die ineinander liegenden Hände sind völlig frei gearbeitet, die oben liegende Hand des Königs setzte sich wohl auch in einem abgebrochenen Arm fort und ist in senkrechter Haltung zu denken. Die Finger sind etwas kräftiger gearbeitet und ganz ausgestreckt, von hinten erfasst er die Hand der Königin. Sie ist mit einer schräg verlaufenden glatten Fläche über dem Handgelenk glatt abgeschnitten.
